Area of Spine Treated:  Lumbar

I was slowly losing the use of my legs. I was on my way to becoming an invalid! I couldn't walk farther than half a block. I would drive to visit my friend living just down the street. I couldn't raise my foot or bend over far enough to put my socks on without considerable pain. Tying shoes was almost out of the question, although I managed somehow. I went to a chiropractor, had therapy, and got four shots in my back, which wore off each time after a few weeks. Although there is some residue pain at times - since my surgery at LSI I can get dressed like a normal person and I can walk for half an hour or more on a level surface. I've gone back to ballroom dancing and I've been going to the YMCA using their leg machines and exercising three days a week. Although there is still a ways to go with my recovery, I keep seeing improvement as time passes.

I must give a Big Salute
To the Laser Spine Institute
You're greeted with good manners and skills
They don't try to impress you with techniques and frills
They change peoples' lives in a manner of hours
Once the Doctors have exercised their powers.
The people there are so very nice
And the Doctors don't have to operate twice
Everyone is treated with the Best of Care
No other place like it anywhere
You hear all the people talking about how
They were crippled and now they are walking
People whose lives have been so tragic
Are now transformed as if by magic
People come in with crutches and chairs
But they're soon rid of all their despairs
People call it the "Happy Place"
All the patients' leave with a smile on their face
I'd like the whole world to be informed
THIS IS THE PLACE MIRACLES ARE PERFORMED
